PMI-RISK MANAGEMENT PROFESSIONAL (PMI-RMP®) EXAMINATION PREPARATION

This qualification is designed to give learners a professional qualification in project risk management. The PMI-RMP credential recognizes demonstrated knowledge and expertise in the specialized area of assessing and identifying project risks while mitigating threats and capitalizing on opportunities. Throughout the programme learners will be introduced to practical risk management scenarios for them to be able to set up a risk management framework as well as mitigation plans. PMI's Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP)® credential is a response to project management's increasing growth, complexity and diversity. Globally recognized and demanded, the PMI-RMP® fills the need for a specialist role in project risk management. It recognizes your unique expertise and competency in assessing and identifying project risks, mitigating threats and capitalizing on opportunities, while still possessing basic skills in all areas of project management.

DURATION:

The course runs over a 14 weeks period. Students need 6 months to adequately prepare for the exam. So, ample time is allocated to revision. The programme can be taken on long distance.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma/Global equivalent 4500 hours project risk management Experience, 40 hours project risk management education or Bachelor's Degree/Global equivalent 3000 hours of Project risk Management Experience and 30 hours project risk management education.

CERTIFICATION

EXAMINATION SESSIONS/DATE:

ASSESSMENT / CERTIFICATION / AWARDING BODY

Application Process + Multiple Choice Exam. The duration of the exam is 3.5 hours where learners answer 170 questions . Learners are required to write assessments per module as well as submit PoE's projects. The Certification body for the Risk Management Certification Programme is the Project Management Institute USA.
