PMI CERTIFIED ASSOCIATE OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT (CAPM)

The Project management Institute (PMI®) also sponsors and conducts the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) qualification program. A CAPM is a project management practitioner who has demonstrated fundamental project management knowledge and experience by supporting projects using project management tools, techniques, and methodologies.
Candidates seeking the CAPM® designation must satisfy education and experience requirements, agree to and adhere to a Code of Professional Conduct, and pass the CAPM® Examination.
Project Management is by far the fastest growing career in South Africa today. This course is designed to dramatically increase the performance of project teams. It is for those who intend to develop professional project skills and competencies.
We recommend that learners who have not undertaken any formal course in project management should commence with our Fundamentals of Project Management course. The need for a nationally, and internationally, recognised certification in Project Management has grown.
At present there is only one recognised project management certification (note certification not certificate) available in SA that addresses both the academic and practical side of the profession, the Project Management Professional certification (PMP®).

DURATION:
The course runs over a 14 weeks period. Students need 6 months to adequately prepare for the exam. So, ample time is allocated to revision. The programme can be taken on long distance.
