CIMA DIPLOMA IN MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING: OPERATIONAL LEVEL

PROGRAMME DESCRIPTION

The Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting at the Operations Level focuses on the following areas: business ethics, forecasting, reporting, and marketing from an operations perspective. Duration: 6 Months

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

• You must be 18 yrs & above - Matric and work experience • Diploma – BCom Acc
• CIMA Diploma Management Accounting – Operations Level • However, it is possible for students to study and sit an operational paper in one pillar and a management paper in another pillar.

EXEMPTIONS

If you already hold a relevant degree or professional qualification, you may be eligible for some exemptions from the certificate in business accounting and the professional qualification. CERTIFICATION


Upon successfully completing the programme learners will be awarded the CIMA Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting at the Management Level. The Certification body for all CIMA qualifications is CIMA, United Kingdom.

HOW WILL I BE ASSESSED?

Learners will be assessed based on a 3-hour written exam paper per module. The exam will be structured as follows: Section A: 20 marks (Compulsory)
Section B: 30 Marks (Six compulsory questions and may include case studies)
Section C: 50 Marks (One or Two compulsory questions and may include case studies)
Pass Mark required for the award: 50%

CAREER PROGRESSION

Learner who successfully complete the operations level will progress to do the management Level STUDY RESOURCES

Learners will be provided with passed exam papers, examination guides, extra reading list, examiners guides and online resources

THE TUITION/STUDENT SUPPORT CENTRE

Lectures are run by Spectrium's Faculty of Finance & Management Accounting, located in Braamfontein, Johannesburg. Spectrium is a registered CIMA Student Support Centre in South Africa.

Full Time – Monday - Friday
Part Time – Mondays - Saturdays - (8:00 – 14:30). Evenings: 17:30 – 20:00.
