How to become a CFA Charter Holder?

To qualify you need to register and write the following exams: CFA Level I, CFA Level II & CFA Level III


DURATION: Minimum 3 Years

CFA Level I (1 Year) I  CFA Level II (1 Year)  I  CFA Level III  (1 Year)

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS TO SIT THE CFA LEVEL I EXAMS

Have earned a bachelor's (or equivalent) degree, or be in their final year of a bachelor's program.

· Have accumulated four years of applicable professional work experience (not required to be investment related).

 

KEY SUCCESSFUL FACTORS

Before the program it is expected that candidates have background knowledge in the following areas:

Statistics (measures of central tendencies, hypothesis testing, probability and measures of central tendency)

Economics (Micro and macro economics models, demand and supply)

Accounting (balance sheet, income statement, Double entry)

We prepare learners to sit the exam through the following flexible study methods:

Part-time Saturday and Sunday Classes (9:00 - 16:00)

Part Time Evening classes (Tuesdays and Thursdays) (18:00 - 20:00)

Full Time (Monday to Friday) (9:00 - 16:00)

COURSE STRUCTURE

The program is structured as follows:

1. Classroom/Online Sessions: 3 days sessions spread across 4 months - covering all the syllabus

2. Revision Sessions: 3 days revision session - practice exam level questions (2 or 3 weeks before the exams)

3. Mock exam: Candidates take the Schweser Mock Exam which is almost a reflection of the CFA examination

Teaching phase study options

Revision phase

The revision phase pays particular attention to focused exam preparation and improving your exam technique.

  • 3 consecutive weekdays
  • 3 consecutive Fridays

OR 3 consecutive Saturdays

ASSESSMENT/CERTIFICATION/AWARDING BODY

Learners are required to write a final examination. The Certification body for the Chartered Financial Analyst professional qualification is the CFA Institute in the USA.
